VIDEO: Schumer meets Trump at White House over stopgap measure

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and President Donald Trump have met at the 11th hour to strike a deal over a stopgap spending measure. The two discussed what could be done to pass a continuing resolution, in order to keep government operations funded. The temporary spending bill passed the House a day before, and must pass the Senate by midnight on January 19th. Should the bill pass, it will mark the third continuing resolution to keep the federal government funded since the fiscal year began in October. However, the continuing resolution will only keep the government funded until February 16th.
