VIDEO: Pelosi tells Trump he 'will be held accountable'
U.S. House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi spoke out about the congressional impeachment inquiry. She said President Donald Trump “will be held accountable” after the White House refused to cooperate. Pelosi said: “Mr. President, you are not above the law. You will be held accountable.” According to Reuters, she also warned that White House that their actions will be seen as “evidence of obstruction.” She referred to their refusal as “continued efforts to hide the truth of the President’s abuse of power.”
