VIDEO: Trump to overhaul Endangered Species Act

On Monday, the Trump administration rolled out changes to the Endangered Species Act. The changes allow the government to put an economic cost on saving a species and other changes. Critics contend could speed extinction for some struggling plants and animals. Interior Secretary David Bernhardt contends the changes will improve efficiency while protecting rare species. "An effectively administered Act ensures more resources can go where they will do the most good: on-the-ground conservation.”
