Flood advisory for York County through Friday evening

The National Weather Service has issued an urban and small stream flood advisory for York County until 6:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 31.

Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have already fallen in the area, and heavy rain is moving in, according to the National Weather Service, which warned some areas could pick up an additional 2 to 3 inches.

York County areas that could expect flooding include Fawn Grove, Peach Bottom and Airville.
