A July 17, 2017, storm caused flooding through York County, including on Industrial Highway in Springettsbury Township, where water completely submerged the roadway and flowed into the partking lots of nearby businesses.

The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood watch for York County from 2 p.m. Friday, July 28, until Saturday afternoon.

Heavy rainfall of 2 to 3 inches, with local amounts of more than 4 inches, is possible, especially in higher terrain, the weather service said.

“Areas that received the heavy rainfall last weekend are most susceptible to flooding,” according to the weather service.
