Air quality alert issued in Susquehanna Valley region
The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection has issued a Code Orange air quality alert Thursday for the Susquehanna Valley, according to the National Weather Service. The alert means that air pollution concentration within the region may become unhealthy for children, people suffering from asthma, heart disease or other lung diseases, and the elderly. These groups are advised to avoid strenuous activity or exercise outdoors.
Otherwise, Thursday will be sunny and mostly clear with a high near 84 and low around 59.
Friday will be sunny with a high near 83 and low around 61.
Saturday will be sunny with a high near 83 and low around 62.
