A flash flood watch is in effect for York County from noon Monday through Monday evening, according to the National Weather Service.

"Showers and thunderstoms this aftenoon into early tonight will bring localized very heavy rain and the threat of flash flooding," the weather warning states.

Look for occasional showers and possibly a thunderstorm Tuesday, which should see a high near 76 and a low of around 58.

Wednesday should see showers, mainly before 9 a.m. The high should be near 73 and the low around 57.
