For 17th consecutive year, reunion for former York US30 Dragway set for July of 2018

For the 17th consecutive year, the York Reunion for the former York US30 Dragway will be held in July of 2018.
The track formerly operated at the York Airport in Thomasville.
The Cavalcade of Memories will present Jungle Jim Liberman Day on Friday, July 20, and the Bill “Grumpy” Jenkins/Larry Lombardo Day on Saturday, July 21, at the Eastern Museum of Motor Racing in York Springs.
Although the York US30 drag strip ceased operation in 1979, an annual pilgrimage continues each year highlighting the exploits of race teams who competed at the track. The York US30 Heritage Days event presents memories and legends each year from drag racing's history.
Bunny Burkett will be on hand to meet her fans. Her race team will perform on Sunday at Beaver Springs Dragway.
The event will also include an automotive flea market, a Saturday car show and cruise-in at the historic Latimore Valley Fairgrounds and the annual Legion of Honor awards ceremony at 5 p.m.Friday, July 20. It all benefits the Eastern Museum of Motor Racing.
On Sunday, July 22, the wheels turn at Beaver Springs Dragway for the presentation of the 15th annual York Nostalgia Nationals. Activities begin at 8 a.m.
