Donny Schatz won the 35-lap World of Outlaws sprint car feature at Lincoln Speedway on Thursday night.
Schatz collected $10,000 for his win in the non-stop event.
His time of 9 minutes, 43.043 seconds establishes a track record.
Schatz started from the pole and led the entire distance despite pressure from Danny Dietrich. Dietrich and Brent Marks actually the swapped the second position several times, but it was Dietrich who chased Schatz to the finish line.
Marks finished third, with Spring Grove's Greg Hodnett and Hanover's Logan Schuchart in the top five. Rounding out the top 10 were Lucas Wolfe, Outlaw point leader Brad Sweet, Dover's Austin Hogue (who came from the 17th starting spot), Jason Johnson and Daryn Pittman.
The race was originally scheduled for Wednesday night but was rained out.
The Outlaws now move on to Williams Grove Speedway for shows on Friday and Saturday nights.
