Rudolph collected $5,000 for his victory in the 40-lap three-quarter midget feature.

By the luck of the draw, Rudolph started from the pole position and led all 40 laps. The northeast modified star defeated NASCAR crew member Ryan Flores for the third consecutive race, dating back to last winter. Canadian super modified driver Mike Lichty finished third, with asphalt modified driver Jimmy Blewett in fourth after holding second for much of the event. Modified and midget driver Tim Buckwalter finished fifth.

In the 20-lap slingshot feature, Ed Reeder was the winner over occasional local sprint car visitor Joe Kata III. Cody Kline, Frank Yankowski and Dan Spellman completed the top five.

Blaney, Larson take $12,000 wins in Arizona: The Winter Heat sprint car series kicked off on Friday evening at the Cocopah Speedway in Arizona.

All Star champion Dale Blaney won the $12,000-to-win feature. Justin Henderson finished second, with Spring Grove's Greg Hodnett in third. Roger Crockett and Bud Kaeding completed the top five.

On Saturday, NASCAR driver Kyle Larson was the $12,000 winner over Shane Stewart. Stewart drives for Larson's team on the World of Outlaws circuit. Danny Lasoski finished third, followed by Blaney and Jason Johnson.
