Central/Dallastown falls in hockey

Lindy Vicari and Matthew Reiss each netted hat tricks to help Penn Manor to a 12-3 win vs. Central York/Dallastown in Central Penn Interscholastic Hockey League Tier 3 action on Wednesday night at the York City Ice Arena.

Vicari also had four assists.

The two teams were tied at 2-2 after the first period. Goals from Levi Thompson and Gavin Lyter dug Central/Dallastown out of an early 2-0 hole, and Carter McCormack scored for Central/Dallastown 45 seconds into the second period for a temporary 3-2 lead. Penn Manor, however, dominated from that point. Anthony Tranchitella, Colin Young and Remington Batt each registered an assist for Central/Dallastown.
