WOLFURT, Austria — Stewartstown's Tiffani McNelis claimed her first-ever international wrestling gold medal over the weekend.

Competing in the 152-pound Cadet Division, McNelis cruised to four straight wins at the Flatz Open in Austria. Her victories came by scores of 6-1, 10-1, 8-0 and 8-1. Overall, she outscored her opposition, 32-3.

McNelis, 15, attended school in the Southeastern School District through eighth grade before opting to compete for Wyoming Seminary. 

McNelis was one of six U.S. women to claim gold medals in the event.
