The Dallastown High School wrestling team continued its impressive start to the 2016-2017 season on Saturday.

The Wildcats went 5-0 to win the Hawk Mountain Duals at Hamburg High School.

In pool-play action, Dallastown beat Caeser Rodney 47-21, Berlin Brothersvalley 54-24, Hamburg 48-17 and Tamaqua 72-12.

In the championship match, the Wildcats beat Pottsville 40-27.

Dallastown improved to 8-0 for the season.

Dallastown will put its perfect record on the line Tuesday night in a key York-Adams Division I match at home against South Western. The Mustangs enter at 6-3 overall and 2-1 in the division.

If the Wildcats win that contest, their next Division I contest on the following Tuesday (Jan. 17) could decide the D-I crown. That's when the Wildcats will travel to Spring Grove, which sits at 8-1 overall and 3-0 in Division I.
