Central York's Dylan Chatterton and New Oxford's Zurich Storm won their respective weight classes at the Conestoga Valley Wrestling Tournament on Wednesday.

Chatterton captured first place at 138 pounds, defeating Mechanicsburg's Brayden Wills by pin in 3 minutes, 3 seconds. His first-place finish helped the Panthers to a seventh-place team finish with 103 points. There were 23 teams in the tournament.

Storm won a 6-4 decision at 120 pounds, defeating Conestoga Valley's Jose Morales, to earn the first-place result. His result helped the Colonials take ninth as a team with 90 points.

In other action, New Oxford's Nolan Poust took home fourth at 152 pounds. Also finishing in fourth for the Colonials was Brock Hartman at 285.

Central's Logan Paluch (106) and Isaiah Dickson (182) earned fifth-place finishes. Red Lion's Riley Seredytch took home sixth at 120. As a team, Red Lion finished in 17th place with 69 points.

Other York-Adams League wrestlers to place were Central York's Xavier Musti (132) and Michael Wolfgram (285) and the Lions' Dylan Gurerri (152). They each finished seventh. Eighth-place finishers were New Oxford's Matthew Poust (138) and Dalton Smith (220).

Governor Mifflin Tournament: In the Governor Mifflin Tournament, two Y-A League wrestlers won their weight classes.

At 126 pounds, Kennard-Dale's Mike Bracey defeated Reaves Arnold of Chantilly (Virginia), 6-3. Dallastown also had Dalton Daugherty place in that weight class, finishing fifth.

The other weight class winner came at 195 from the Wildcats' Bryce Shields. He defeated Oley Valley's Charlie Wildermuth, 11-4, capping off a tournament in which he recorded two pins and a tech fall in his previous three matches.

Dover's Brandon Rodriguez earned a runner-up finish at 113, losing to Hempfield's Jarod Loose, 8-4. He was joined by the Rams' Austin McNamee in the runner-up place. McNamee finished second at 170, losing by pin to Hempfield's Tyler Reber.

Finishing in third was the Eagles' Matthew Rodriguez, who defeated K-D's Dameon Davis by major decision, 11-0. York County wrestlers actually claimed half of the six medal positions at 106 pounds, with Dallastown's Geoffrey Grimm finishing sixth. Another third-place finisher was Dover's Austin Richcreek at 220, defeating Conestoga's Kade LaMarre, 7-3.

In the 170-pound third-place bout, West York's Jaeden Thomas wound up taking fourth, losing to Plymouth Whitemarsh's Tommy DiSisto, 6-2.

Other place-winners from the tournament were the Wildcats' Drake Pew (160) and Cameron Green (182) and Northeastern's Corey Eaton (220) and Blaine Yinger (285), all of whom wound up fifth. The Rams' Justin Miller took home sixth at 113.
