Tickets available for general public for PIAA Track & Field Championships

Additional tickets for the general public are available for the 96th PIAA Track & Field Championships.

The announcement was made Tuesday.

General admission tickets must be purchased electronically at All tickets are $8 plus processing fees and are only available through the site. There will be no gate sale at Shippensburg University.

The general admission tickets will not affect the sale to athletes' families who previously received ticket codes. Families are encouraged to use the provided codes for their ticket purchases, according to a PIAA news release.

In addition, all spectators are encouraged to wear masks while attending the meets, however masks will not be required for those individuals who are fully vaccinated or those who can maintain six feet of social distancing.

The Class 2-A meet is scheduled for Friday, with qualifying heats and some field event finals at 9 a.m. The Class 3-A meet is Saturday, with qualifying heats and some field event finals also at 9 a.m. Race finals on the track are scheduled for noon both days.
