BOYS' TENNIS: Dover earns 3-2 triumph vs. Susquehannock


Truman Metz won the No. 2 singles match in three sets (6-4, 3-6, 6-4) to provide the pivotal point in Dover's 3-2 boys' tennis victory over Susquehannock on Thursday in Glen Rock.

Wyatt Crone won the No. 1 singles match for Dover, while Michael Kozuch won the No. 3 singles match.

Truman Metz came up with a three-set win at No. 2 singles to help Dover defeat Susquehannock in boys' tennis, 3-2.

For the Warriors, Zachary Beam and Colton Mumley won the No. 1 doubles match. Susquehannock won the other doubles match by forfeit.


York Suburban 4, Spring Grove 1: At York Suburban, the Trojans received singles victories from Tyr Abendscoen and Drew Thompson. In doubles, Tom Platts and Shobhit Kharuna won the No. 1 match, while Robbie Bell and Liam Waterbury combined to win the No. 2 match. For the Rockets, Luke Senft won a singles match.

Red Lion 5, Donegal 0: At Red Lion, the Lions received singles victories from Alec Shue, Riley Krout and Cameron Wheeler. Teammates Luc Nadeau and Alex Schor won the No. 1 doubles match, while Kyle Palmieri and Luke Zeidman won the No. 2 doubles match.

Hanover 3, York Country Day 2: At Hanover, the Nighthawks received singles victories from: Henry Smith and Justin Barnes to help them to the non-league victory. For the Greyhounds, Kilian Shaeffer won the No. 1 singles match in straight sets, while teammates Nick Riggins and Jack Huang combined to win the No. 2 doubles match.

Littlestown 4, York Catholic 1: At Springettsbury Park, the Thunderbolts swept singles play to secure the York-Adams Division II victory. Brett Gill, Noah DeCampo and Ryan Appleton each captured a singles victory for the Thunderbolts. For the Irish, Joey Schwamb and Seung Ho Jung won the No. 2 doubles match.
