BOYS' TENNIS: Northeastern slips past Dover for 4-3 win


Northeastern's No. 1 doubles team of Josh Sanderson and Erich Nagel earned a 6-4, 6-2 victory to sew up a 4-3 boys' tennis team victory over visiting Dover on Thursday.

Sanderson (No. 1) and Nagel (No. 3) also got singles wins for Northeastern, along with Alec Schroter (No. 5).


Truman Metz (No. 2) and Kozuch (No. 4) won in singles for Dover, while Michael Kozuch teamed with Luke Lightner to take No. 2 doubles.


Cumberland Valley 6, Central York 1: At Central York, the Panthers secured their lone point in doubles when Chris Maderitz and Connor Bacha combined to win the No. 1 match by retirement. Central fell to 6-4.

Red Lion 7, Susquehannock 0: The Lions dropped only one game during all of singles play in their rout of the Warriors. Nick Stare was challenged the most during his singles win, defeating Susquehannock’s Zachary Bream, 6-0, 6-1.
