The Central York boys' tennis team bounced back from a tough non-league defeat on Monday vs. Manheim Central with a convincing 5-2 York-Adams Division I victory over Spring Grove on Tuesday.

Connor Bacha, Kyle Varone and Alec Goldstone each won singles matches for Central, while the doubles teams of Chris Maderit/Bacha and Varone/Goldstone swept the doubles matches.

Grant Wierman and Garret Leib won singles matches for Spring Grove.

OTHER BOYS' TENNIS

York Catholic 7, Hanover 0: At Springettsbury, no Fighting Irish player dropped more than two games in a set. Michael Andrews, Nicholas Gingerich, T.J. McGraw, Mason Elliot and Jonathan Giambalvo all won singles matches, while the teams of Andrews/Elliot and Gingerich/McGraw won the doubles matches.

Dallastown 7, Dover 0: At Dallastown, the Wildcats received straight-set singles victories from Tyler Lilie, Sachin Venkatesh, Jonathan Burns, Nathan Swartz and Logan Maddox.

Red Lion 7, Northeastern 0: At Red Lion, the Lions received straight-set singles victories from Nick Stare, Alex Ohme, Chase McKnight, Riley Krout and Alex Schor.

York Suburban 4, Bermudian Springs 3: At Suburban, the Trojans captured the match in doubles when Tyr Abendshoen and Tom Platts combined to win the No. 1 match in straight sets (6-3, 6-0). Abendshoen, Platts, and Jacob Arbetman also each won a singles match.
