West York's Erica Sarver earned the girls' individual title on Saturday at the South Western Diving Invitational.

Sarver, who has committed to dive on the NCAA Division I level for San Diego State, finished with a 428.8 total, which was nearly six points ahead of second-place Shannon McCabe of Big Spring.

Sarver is the defending District Class 2-A diving champion. She also finished second in last year's PIAA Class 2-A state meet.

Northeastern's Lauren Williamson took fifth at South Western. The other York County finishers were: West York's Maya Sarver in seventh, Central York's Kirsten Taylor in eighth, Dallastown's Kelsey Oswandel in 12th, South Western's Ella Baugher in 13th, Central York's Hannah Potts in 14th, South Western's Katie Weisz in 15th, Spring Grove's Kyrstin Wonder in 16th and Spring Grove's Morgan Lint in 17th.

Chambersburg's Nick Cover won the boys' event with a 491.65 total. Garrett Sommer of Central York was third at 374.35.

Other York County boys' divers were: South Western's Izaiah Bosse in fourth, Dallastown's Bryce Willet in fifth and South Western's Matt Miller in seventh.
