The Dallastown swimming teams swept to a pair of convincing victories on Wednesday in their own invitational meet.
The Wildcat girls compiled a total of 126 points to finish 32 points ahead of second-place York Suburban (94). Cedar Crest was third (58), Boiling Springs was fourth (26) and Red Land was fifth (3).
The Wildcat boys had a 116 total, which was 57 points clear of second-place Suburban (59). Boiling Springs was third (55), followed by Cedar Crest (41) and Red Land (37).
Senior Kacey Oberlander paced the Dallastown girls' team, winning the 200 freestyle and 100 backstroke, while also swimming a leg on the victorious 400 free relay. Junior Jena Woods added wins in the 200 individual medley and 100 breaststroke for the Wildcats.
Senior Rebekah Brown added a victory in the 500 free for Dallastown and also swam on the 400 free relay. Freshman Sydney Hoover took the 100 butterfly for the Wildcats..
Suburban was paced by Carson Gross, who triumphed in the 50 free and led the Trojans to victory in the 200 medley relay and 200 free relay.
In the boys' event, senior Spencer Hill (100 fly, 100 back), sophomore Logan Brockway (200 free, 500 free), sophomore Grant Wertz (200 IM, 100 breast) and junior Jacob Stoner (50 free, 100 free) each had two individual wins for Dallastown. Hill and Brockway were also on the winning 200 medley and 400 free relays. Wertz and Stoner were on the 200 medley relay.
