YORK-ADAMS SOFTBALL: Eight-run fourth carries Susquehannock over Eastern York

Susquehannock 11, Eastern 1: At Glen Rock, the Warriors exploded for eight runs in the bottom of the fourth to turn a 2-1 lead into a 9-1 advantage over the Golden Knights in the non-league game. Susquehannock's Lily Yoakum went 2-for-3 with two singles, while Maddy Staub went 2-for-3 with a single and a double. Despite surrendering 11 runs, Eastern's Sierra Arnold tossed a complete game, striking out two and walking none. Susquehannock improved to 4-2, while Eastern fell to 0-5.

Big Spring 9, West York 7: At West York, a five-run fifth inning for Big Spring broke a 3-3 tie and put the Bulldogs ahead for good in the non-league battle. West York out-hit Big Spring 17-11 in the game, but committed five errors. Kayla Michael hit a home run for the Bulldogs, who fell to 4-1.
