PREP: Susquehannock boys' soccer team stays perfect in York-Adams Division II action

The Susquehannock boys' soccer team remained alone in first place in York-Adams Division II on Monday, Oct. 2, with a 5-2 triumph at West York.
The Warriors improved to 8-0 in the division and will play host to second-place Gettysburg (7-1) at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 3, in a first-place showdown.
Susquehannock handed Gettysburg its only division loss earlier this season at Gettysburg, 4-0.
David Muriel-Diaz led the Warriors over West York by scoring two goals. Also for Susquehannock, Jason Weger, Zachary Buchanan and Connor Dills each scored one goal. Warriors goalie Griffin Kaifer made seven stops to record the win.
For the Bulldogs, Noah Murray and Aidan Clark scored the goals.
Dallastown 3, Northeastern 1: At Manchester, after falling behind by a goal at halftime, the Wildcats rallied to score three unanswered in the second half. Leo Garcia scored twice to tie the game and then give Dallastown the lead, while Cade Curran added insurance. Northeastern’s only goal came from D.J. Hamilton.
York Suburban 1, Littlestown 0, 2OT: At Littlestown, N.J. Bowman scored in the second overtime to give Suburban the win. Cody Willoughby had 12 saves for Suburban.
Susquehannock 1, Gettysburg 0: At Gettysburg, Ashlyn Weger found the back of the net at the 19:42 mark of the first half to give the York County Warriors an early lead that held up. Maggie Sissler made five stops in goal to record the shutout. Susquehannock improved to 8-1 in York-Adams Division II and took sole possession of first place. Gettysburg fell to 7-2 in the division.
York Suburban 5, Littlestown 1: At Suburban, Katie Wand led the Trojans by scoring two goals and adding one assist. Also for Suburban, Nyah Hood, Kamilleb Wasilewski and Reilly Seweard each scored one goal, while Roma Williams, Christina Cologer, Hannah Plotkin and Maddie Barley each added one assist.
West Shore Christian 8, Christian School of York 3: At Christian School of York, Kendis Butler scored a hat trick to power the Crusaders in the loss. Teammate Amani Monroe made 21 stops in goal.
York Suburban 5, York Catholic 0: At Suburban, the Trojans received singles victories from Liv Pindzola, Alex Clancy and Lucy Smith. In doubles, Skylar Volz and Kelly Sargen combined to win the No. 1 doubles match, while Zoe Prats and Ini Ekaha combined to win the No. 2 doubles match.
Northeastern 3, Hanover 0: At Manchester, the Bobcats won, 25-15, 25-22, 25-19. Ashlie Kohr led the Bobcats with six kills and seven digs. Also for the Bobcats, Neli Lacourt had 15 digs and four aces, Courtney Klinger had six kills and Natalie Martin had 21 assists.
