The West York lacrosse teams swept to pair of easy victories over Dover on Monday.

The West York boys won, 14-1, while the Bulldogs took the girls' contest, 13-3.

In the boys' match at Dover, Nathaniel Franklin led the Bulldogs with three goals and an assist, while three other players had two-goal nights and Zach Hess had a goal and three assists. Amari Peterson scored Dover’s lone goal, while Josh Wolgamuth came up with 16 saves in goal.

In the girls' match at West York, Sami Gentzler and Ally Williams each scored three goals for the winners, while Lakyn Brenneman and Holly Detwiler each had two goals and an assist. Dover got two goals from Sara Kistner and a goal from Annie Long.

OTHER BOYS' LACROSSE

Palmyra 11, Red Lion 10 (OT): At Palmyra, Sam Emig and Jac Gemmill led the Lions by scoring three goals and adding two assists apiece. Also for the Lions, Justin Dashler and Trevor Rider each scored two goals, while Matt Hale made 12 stops in goal.

Lower Dauphin 8, Spring Grove 7: At Spring Grove, the Rockets suffered a close non-league loss. No other details were available.

OTHER GIRLS' LACROSSE

Carlisle 10, Red Lion 8: At Red Lion, Alyssa Adams and Peyton Shima led the Lions by scoring three goals apiece. Teammate Larissa Herbert made 15 stops in goal.
