The best lacrosse teams in the York-Adams League are about to embark on the next stage of the 2015 season.
The pairings, sites and times for next week's league tournament semifinals have been set.
Action starts at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday with the girls' semifinals. Regular-season champion Kennard-Dale (15-0, 11-0) is the No. 1 seed and takes on No. 4 seed West York (9-5, 8-3) at Susquehannock. In the other girls' semifinal at Central York, No. 2 seed Susquehannock (13-1, 10-1) battles No. 3 seed York Catholic (10-3, 9-2). In their regular-season meetings, K-D beat West York, 17-7, and Susquehannock downed York Catholic, 6-4.
The boys' semifinals are set for 7 p.m. Tuesday. League co-champion Susquehannock (11-2, 10-1), the No. 1 seed, faces No. 4 seed Dallastown (12-3, 8-3) at Central York. The other semifinal pits No. 2 seed and league co-champion West York (12-3, 10-1) vs. No. 3 seed Red Lion (12-2, 9-2) at Susquehannock. During the regular-season, Susquehannock beat Dallastown, 8-6, while West York beat Red Lion 10-9 in overtime.
Both the boys' and girls' finals are set for Thursday, May 7, at Susquehannock. The girls' title match is scheduled for 5:30 p.m., followed by the boys' championship match at 7 p.m.

Dallastown 16, Garden Spot 5: At Dallastown, the Wildcats rolled in the non-league contest behind big nights from Alyssa Layton (three goals, assist), Amber Dubois (three goals), Olivia Thomas (two goals, assist), Melissa Clapsaddle (two goals) and Lindsey Ellis (goal, assist). Mary Eckert had four saves to get the win in goal.
