Central York ice hockey team shuts out Dallastown to remain undefeated on season

After a sluggish first period, Central York pulled away to shut out Dallastown 7-0 in a Central Penn Interscholastic Hockey League Rothrock Division contest on Wednesday, Dec. 6, at York City Ice Arena.

The win kept Central undefeated at 8-0, while Dallastown remained winless at 0-7-1.

After leading just 1-0 following the first period, Central York found its offense, scoring three goals in each of the final two periods. 

Six different players scored for Central, led by Jacob Nagy, who had two goals. He also added two assists. Cody Schmouder, Garrett Myers, Carter McCormack, Wesley Copenheaver and Jordan Kline each scored one goal.

Dallastown managed just two shots on goal, while its goalie, Dylan O'Neil, turned aside 32 shots.
