Roughly a month into the season, both the Susquehannock and Dallastown ice hockey teams were each still searching for a win.
That figured to end Wednesday, Nov. 29, when the two teams squared off at the York City Ice Arena.
After Wednesday's final buzzer, however, each team is still in search of a win.
The two York County rivals skated to a 5-5 tie. Dallastown is now 0-5-1 and Susquehannock is now 0-3-2.
After both teams played to a 2-2, tie through the first period, Dallastown dominated the second period, going up 4-2 heading into the third period. However, Susquehannock responded, outscoring Dallastown, 3-1, in the game's final frame to earn the tie.
Alan Reider had a hat trick for Susquehannock, while Ryan Myers scored the team's other two goals, including the game-tying goal with less than two minutes to play in the game.
Dallastown got a pair of goals from Nicholas Voorstad and single goals from Tanner Haines, Brock Stitley and Katelyn Reid.
The two teams also displayed their lack of fondness for each other. The teams combined for 22 penalties — 11 each — and 95 penalty minutes.
