ICE HOCKEY: Dallastown, Susquehannock suffer CPIHL Rothrock Division losses
The Dallastown ice hockey team returned to the Central Penn Interscholastic Hockey League this season.
The team, however, is still searching for its first win of the season.
Dallastown fell to Cedar Crest, 8-0, on Monday, Nov. 27, in Rothrock Division action at the York City Ice Arena. The loss dropped Dallastown to 0-6 on the year, while Cedar Crest is now 5-0-1.
Cedar Crest scored twice in the first period to build a lead and then scored three goals in each of the last two periods to grow its lead.
Dallastown was out-shot in the game, 36-14.
Susquehannock allows a dozen: The Susquehannock ice hockey team had trouble slowing down the Shamrocks, getting doubled-up, 12-6, in Rothrock Division action at Twin Ponds West.
The Shamrocks (4-1-1) scored six goals in the opening period and followed that up with four more in the second to build a 10-3 lead going into the final period.
Owen Marcase had a hat trick for Susquehannock (0-3-1), while Andrew Baibos, Ryan Myers and Donovan Appleby also scored once.
