The Panthers (6-0) raced out to a 3-0 lead after the first period, traded goals with L-S (2-2) in the second period and then dominated the final frame to pull away.

Central York scored five of the game's final six goals, including four in the third period.

Wesley Copenheaver scored once in each period to record a hat-trick for the Panthers and was the only player on his team to score more than once. Jacob Nagy and Jordan Kline each had a goal and two assists to match Copenheaver's three-point night, while Sean Barba tallied three assists to match his teammates.

As a team, nine different players recorded at least one point for Central York. The Panthers also peppered L-S goalie Josh Griel with shots, firing 51 on the goal, more than twice as many as the home team.

The Panthers remain the only Rothrock Division team to have won all of their games to start the season and remain five points clear of second place Shamrocks and Cedar Crest.
