The Susquehannock ice hockey team scored eight unanswered goals on Monday night to down Middletown 11-4 in Central Penn Interscholastic Hockey League Tier 3 action at Twin Ponds West.

The Warriors trailed the Blue Raiders, 4-3, less than two minutes into the second period, but responded by turning up the pressure both offensively and defensively to pull ahead and secure an easy win.

Susquehannock outscored Middletown 6-2 in the second period to grab a four-goal cushion going into the third period and then extended its lead with three more goals in the third.

Alan Reider registered a hat trick for the Warriors, while Bryan McGillin and Kaden Glatfelter each netted two goals. Glatfelter added two assists to finish off a four-point night, while McGillin, Reider and Timothy Schwensen each had three-point games.

The win moved Susquehannock to 3-0 on the year and sets it up with a showdown against MSMCC on Friday night in a game between two undefeated teams in Tier 3.
