GOLF: Dover keeps rolling in Division II play
- All four of Dover's qualifying scores finished in the top-10.
- Logan Snyder, Cody Bowers and Trevor Staub all shot 80 for the Eagles, finishing in a six-way tie for second.
- Zach Dixon of Eastern York shot 77, the only player to break 80.
The Dover golf team continued its dominance in York-Adams League Division II play this season, taking first place again on Tuesday at Pleasant Valley Golf Club.
The Eagles got three scores of 80 to pace the four-person team total of 323, 22 strokes better than second-place Susquehannock and 27 strokes better than third-place York Suburban.
Logan Snyder, Cody Bowers and Trevor Staub all shot 80 for Dover, finishing in a six-way tie for second, along with Eastern York's Alexandra Lowder and the Warriors' Spencer Beren and Kendel Abrams. The Golden Knigths' Zach Dixon was the only player to break 80 on the day, shooting a 77.
Dover has now won all three matches so far this season, compiling 54 points out of a possible 54.
