The Central York golf team finished off a perfect York-Adams Division I season on Wednesday with a victory at Hanover Country Club in Abbottstown.
The Panthers finished with a team total of 318, which was just one shot better than second-place Spring Grove. It was the closest that another team came to beating Central all season. Dallastown was third at 322 in the highly competitive match.
The Panthers finished the division season at 42-0-0, good for 126 points. Spring Grove finished second at 32-10-0 (96 points), while Dallastown was third at 28-14-0 (84 points).
Dallastown's Blake Sebring had the day's low score at 1-over-par 72, which was four shots clear of Spring Grove's Luke Huffnagle (76). The other golfers to break 80 on the day were New Oxford's Justin Gruver (77), Dallastown's Evan Greenplate (77), Central York's Joe Parrini (77) and Central York's Gus Minkin (78).
Central will now face off against Division II champion Eastern York and Division III champion York Catholic for the overall York-Adams League title next Wednesday at Briarwood.
