Red Lion and Central York finished tied for the York-Adams Division I girls' volleyball championship after earning 3-0 victories on Thursday night.

Both teams finished 10-2 in division action.

Central, however, earned the top seed from D-I for the upcoming league tournament by winning a tiebreaker. In their two head-to-head matches, Central earned a 5-4 edge in games won. Central lost to Red Lion in the first meeting between the teams, 3-2, but won the second meeting, 3-1.

The league tournament begins with quarterfinal action on Monday at Dallastown High School. The match-ups are as follows:

Division I No. 1 seed Central vs. Division III No. 2 seed York Catholic at 6 p.m. (Court 1).

Division III No. 1 seed Delone Catholic vs. Division II No. 3 seed York Suburban at 7:30 p.m. (Court 1).

Division I No. 2 seed Red Lion vs. Division II No. 2 seed Susquehannock at 6 p.m. (Court 2).

Division II No. 1 seed West York vs. Division I No. 3 seed Dallastown at 7:30 p.m. (Court 2).

The semifinals and finals are Tuesday night at Dallastown.

On Thursday at New Oxford, the Panthers beat the Colonials, 25-22, 25-22, 25-19. Kamryn Stambaugh led the visitors with 11 kills, three digs, three aces and eight blocks. Also for Central, Emma Saxton had 31 assists and seven digs, Emily Wilt had 11 kills and three digs and Lauren Plata had six kills and five digs. For the Colonials, Wren Berry had four digs and 15 assists and Taylor Laughman had four kills. Central won the JV match, 2-0.

On Thursday at Red Lion, the Lions beat Dover, 25-19, 25-13, 25-13. Lindsey Blevins led the Lions with 12 kills, 13 digs and four aces. Also for the Lions, Maddie Grim had 27 assists, six aces and five digs, Logan Dontell had 11 kills and five digs and Lauren Enfield had six kills and four digs. For the Eagles, Abby Diehl had 18 assists and three digs, while Chance Hoffman had four kills, three digs and three aces and Emma Davis had five kills and three blocks.

VOLLEYBALL

West York 3, York High 0: At York High, the Bulldogs won, 25-4, 25-5, 25-15. Abbey James led the Bulldogs with 23 assists, five kills and six aces. Also for West York, Marisa Krinock had five kills and four aces, Tesia Thomas had 11 kills and Trilby Kite had four aces. For the Bearcats, Jae Fitch had three digs and two kills, while Keishla Ortiz had two digs and two aces. West York finished 14-0 in York-Adams Division II action. West York won the JV match, 2-0.

York Catholic 3, Hanover 0: At York Catholic, the Irish won, 25-23, 25-23, 25-21. Emily Hoffman led the Irish with 13 assists, 11 digs, three kills and three aces. Also for the Irish, Rachel Shelley had four kills, three digs and five blocks, Rosalee Najdek had 13 digs and McKenna Walker had 26 digs. For the Hawkettes, Lexi Daley had six kills, nine digs and 18 assists, while Maria Drawbaugh had seven kills. York Catholic won the JV match, 2-0.

Susquehannock 3, Gettysburg 1: At Gettysburg, the visitors won, 25-15, 25-16, 21-25, 25-17. Tyler Williams led the visitors with 13 kills, 17 digs and three aces. Also for Susquehannock, Amber Sweitzer had 33 assists and 18 digs, Abby Deter had six kills, 15 digs and four aces and Gabby Ogude had eight kills and four blocks. For the home team, Shelby Briggs had 12 kills, 13 digs and three blocks, while Morgan Mayers had nine kills and 10 digs. Susquehannock won the JV match, 2-0.

York Suburban 3, Kennard-Dale 0: At Suburban from Wednesday, the Trojans won, 25-8, 25-7, 25-6. Ali Reinecker led the Trojans with 10 kills, five digs and six aces. Also for Suburban, Georgia DuMars had 26 assists and four digs, Eryn McBride had 16 digs and Katherine Mooney had five kills and three digs. For the Rams, Megan Gereny had 13 digs, while Claire Glackin had four digs. Suburban won the JV match, 25-8, 25-19.

Delone Catholic 3, York Tech 0: At McSherrystown, the Squirettes won, 25-13, 25-7, 25-7. Kayla Ewart led the home team with 10 digs and five kills. Teammate Claire Kaufmann had six kills and three aces. The Squirettes finished 12-0 in York-Adams Division III action.  Delone won the JV match, 2-0.

Littlestown 3, Fairfield 0: At Littlestown, the Thunderbolts won, 25-10, 25-8, 25-9. Emily Staub led the home team with seven kills, six digs, 19 assists and six aces. Teammate Mariah Hymiller had seven kills, five digs and four aces. Littlestown won the JV match, 2-0.

South Western 3, Spring Grove 1: At Spring Grove, the Mustangs rallied for a 21-25, 25-13, 25-10, 25-17 win. Kaitlyn Chell (23 digs), Bonna Sheehan (28 assists, nine digs, five kills) and Ali St. Rose (16 kills, six digs) led South Western. Josie Attig (31 assists, 13 digs, Lexi Yingling (39 digs) and Kaylyn Zeigler (31 digs) paced Spring Grove. Spring Grove won the JV match, 2-0.
