Delone Catholic solidified its hold on the York-Adams Division III girls' volleyball race on Thursday with a 25-8, 25-18, 25-20 triumph over visiting York Catholic.

The Squirettes improved to 8-0 in the division, while second-place York Catholic fell to 7-2.

Delone has won five straight outright D-III crowns.

Chloe Kindig powered the Squirettes with 23 assists, 12 digs, six aces, five blocks and four kills. She was supported by Claire Kaufmann (12 kills), Kayla Ewart (15 digs) and Karigen Emig (13 digs, seven kills).

York Catholic's stat leaders were McKenna Walker (10 digs) and Rosalee Nadjek (seven digs)

Delone won the JV match, 2-0.

VOLLEYBALL

Central York 3, Dallastown 0: At Central, the Panthers won the York-Adams Division I match, 25-19, 25-18, 25-16. Ashley Gallagher led the Panthers with eight kills and 12 digs. Also for Central, Emily Wilt had seven kills, six digs and three blocks, Emma Saxton had 33 assists and four digs and Kamryn Stambaugh had four kills, four aces and six blocks. For the Wildcats, Delaney Kolb had eight kills and three digs, while Gabby Ream had seven digs and 14 assists and Anne Bobin had three kills and three blocks. Central moved into second place in the division at 6-2. Dallastown fell to 6-3. Red Lion leads the division at 7-1. Central won the JV match, 2-0.

West York 3, Kennard-Dale 0: At West York, Marisa Krinock had 10 kills and Abbey James had 20 assists as the Bulldogs won, 25-14, 25-11, 25-10. Megan Gereny had 11 digs and Claire Glackin had 10 assists for the Rams. West York improved to 10-0 in York-Adams Division II action.

South Western 3, Dover 1: At Dover, the Mustangs won the match, 25-15, 25-22, 21-25, 25-13. Megan Wolf had 12 kills and 19 digs. Teammate Morgan Czapp had eight kills and 13 digs. For the Eagles, Emma Davis had 12 kills and four blocks, while Chayce Hoffman had six kills and 12 digs and Abby Diehl had 27 assists and four digs. South Western won the JV match, 2-0.

York Suburban 3, Gettysburg 0: At Gettysburg, Georgia DuMars paced the offense with 27 assists and Eryn McBride led the defense with 14 digs as the Trojans won, 25-23, 25-19, 25-15.

Susquehannock 3, Northeastern 0: At Glen Rock, Jaden Walker’s nine kills and Amber Sweitzer’s 27 assists helped the Warriors win, 25-11, 26-24, 25-13. Deja Lee had 13 digs and Natalie Martin had 16 assists for Northeastern. Susquehannock improved to 7-3 in York-Adams Division II.

Eastern York 3, York High 0: At York, Liz Pyles had 10 assists and seven aces as the Golden Knights scored a 25-10, 25-16, 25-15 road victory. Brooke LaCesa added seven kills for Eastern York. No stats for York High were reported.

Spring Grove 3, New Oxford 1: At New Oxford, Autumn Leese recorded 18 kills while Josi Attig dished out 38 assists and the visiting Rockets won, 25-18, 22-25, 25-10, 25-20. Brenna Kelley had 24 digs and Wren Berry had 33 assists for the Colonials.

Hanover 3, Bermudian Springs 0: At Hanover, the Hawkettes won the match, 25-12, 25-18, 25-11. Maria Drawbaugh led the home team with nine kills, 10 digs and three aces. Teammate Lexi Daley had three kills, three digs, 18 assists and three aces. Bermudian won the JV match, 2-0.

Fairfield 3, York Tech 1: At Fairfield, the Green Knights won, 10-25, 25-14, 25-13, 25-22. Ashlynn Griner led the home team with eight assists and six aces. Teammate Kelsey Reed had five blocks. For the Spartans, Brooke Glass had 20 digs, eight assists and three aces, while Kayli Shoff had 19 digs and five assists and MaryBeth Diaz had seven kills. Fairfield won the JV match. 2-0.

FIELD HOCKEY

Eastern York 10, Dover 0: At Wrightsville, Tia Judy and Morgan Buckwalter each scored three goals as the Golden Knights cruised. Judy added a pair of assists. Cassidy Arnold scored a pair of goals and posted a pair of assists for Eastern York.

Bermudian Springs 4, Susquehannock 0: At York Springs, Kaitlyn McCollum led the Eagles to the victory with two goals and one assist.

Cedar Cliff 1, South Western 0: At Cedar Cliff, the Mustangs dropped a low-scoring affair on Thursday. South Western won the JV game.

West York 0, South Western 0: At West York, the two teams battle to scoreless draw on Wednesday. South Western won the JV match, 1-0.
