The Central York girls’ volleyball team swept Manheim Township on Monday night in non-league action, winning three tightly-contested games, 25-21, 25-23, 25-23.

Ashley Gallagher had 11 kills and 11 digs for the Panthers, while Emma Saxton passed for 29 assists. Kamryn Stambaugh was a force at the net on both sides of the ball for Central, coming up with 11 kills on offense and seven blocks on defense.

The Panthers also won the junior varsity match in a sweep, 2-0.

West York 3, New Oxford 0: At West York, Marisa Krinock’s 14 kills led the way for a 25-22, 25-17, 25-12 Bulldogs victory. Abbey James added 29 assists and Trilby Kite had 13 digs for West York. Wren Berry had 20 assists and Brenna Kelley had 14 blocks for New Oxford.

Hanover 3, Northeastern 0: At Hanover, the Hawkettes won 25-9, 25-21, 25-14. Alexa Merrel led the home team with 14 kills. Teammate Lexi Daley had four kills, three digs and 26 assists. For the Bobcats, Deja Lee had four kills and nine digs, Shayne Dozier had nine digs and nine assists and Jackie Kurilla had seven digs and three kills. Northeastern won the JV match, 2-0.

Gettysburg 3, Littlestown 0: At Littlestown, the Warriors won, 25-17, 27-25, 25-19. Shelby Briggs led the visitors with eight kills and four aces. Teammate Sammi Faloon had five kills, 10 digs and three aces. For the Thunderbolts, Emily Staub had 15 assists, eight digs and three kills. Littlestown won the JV match, 2-0.

South Western 3, Carlisle 1: At Carlisle, the Mustangs rallied for a 20-25, 25-19, 28-26, 25-13 win. Kaitlyn Chell had 27 digs for South Western, while Ali St Rose had 14 kills and Bonna Sheehan had 21 assists. The Mutangs also won the JV match, 2-0.

Lancaster Mennonite 3, Kennard-Dale 0: At Fawn Grove, the visitors won, 25-20, 25-14, 25-23. For the Rams, Meagan Gereny had 23 digs, Jess Moore had three kills and 12 digs and Claire Glackin had seven digs and six assists. Mennonite won the JV match, 2-0.

Red Land 3, York High 0: At Red Land, Wilmarie Ortiz posted five kills and Emoni Perkiss had four digs as the Bearcats fell, 25-17, 25-14, 25-15.

Chambersburg 3, York Suburban 1: At Chambersburg, the Trojans dropped the non-league contest to the Trojans,  25-23, 25-18, 24-26, 25-17. No other details were reported.
