GIRLS' VOLLEYBALL: Spring Grove storms back for win


The Spring Grove girls’ volleyball team rallied from a 2-0 hole to win the final three games against Dallastown and earn a 22-25, 20-25, 25-17, 25-20, 17-15 triumph on Monday night.

Autumn Leese had a big night at the net and on defense for the Rockets, finishing with 25 kills and 23 digs. Teammate Josie Attig had 44 assists, while Kendra Miller finished with six blocks at the net.


The Wildcats were led by Delaney Kolb, who had 14 kills, while Anne Bobin chipped in with 11. Lydia Stump served the ball well, accounting for four aces. Teammate Kat Forry had 17 digs and Gabby Ream had 48 assists.



Red Lion 3, Manheim Township 1: At Manheim Township, the Lions raced out to a 2-0 lead and then won the match in four games, 25-23, 25-12, 17-25, 25-22. Lindsey Blevins had 20 kills for Red Lion, while Logan Dontell added 13 and Lauren Enfield had 10. Enfield also had a team-high 14 digs and Maddie Grim passed for 38 assists.

Susquehannock 3, Dover 0: At Dover, the Warriors swept the Eagles, 25-21, 25-11, 25-19. Jaden Walker and Abbey Deter each had six kills for Susquehannock, while Amber Bortner had 14 digs. For Dover, Chayce Hoffman had 10 kills and Abby Diehl served two aces. The Warriors won the JV match, 2-0.

Littlestown 3, Boiling Springs 0: At Littlestown, the Lady Bolts rolled, 25-8, 25-10, 25-14. Emily Staub (19 assists, six digs, eight aces) paced Littlestown. The Bolts won the JV match, 2-0.

Waynesboro 3, South Western 0: At Waynesboro, the home team won the non-league match, 29-27, 27-25, 26-14. Madisyn McMaster led the Mustangs with 11 kills, 14 assists, 11 digs and three aces.
