GIRLS' VOLLEYBALL: West York rolls over Red Land

West York continued its strong start to the 2016 girls' volleyball season with a 25-5, 25-20, 25-14 triumph over visiting Red Land on Wednesday night in non-league action.

One night after sweeping defending York-Adams Division II champion Susquehannock, the Bulldogs did the same to the Patriots.

Marisa Krinock led the home team with seven kills and three aces. Also for West York, Julia Rill had seven kills, nine digs and four aces; Abbey James had three kills, four digs and 22 assists; and Tesia Thomas had seven kills.

West York won the JV match 2-0.
