GIRLS' VOLLEYBALL: West York storms back to beat York Suburban

West York 3, York Suburban 2: At Suburban, the Bulldogs rallied from two games down to upend the Trojans, 20-25, 22-25, 25-21, 25-16, 15-10. Amanda Sides and Marisa Krinock both had 17 kills for West York, while Abbey James had 45 assists. For Suburban, Eryn McBride had a team-high 15 digs. The Trojans won the JV match, 25-16, 25-12.

Littlestown 3, York Tech 0: At Littlestown, the Thunderbolts rolled to a 25-12, 25-10, 25-16 win. Emily Staub led Littlestown with 15 assists. Brooke Glass had eight digs and 13 assists for Tech. The Thunderbolts won the JV match, 25-6, 25-5.

Dallastown 3, Dover 0: At Dover, the Wildcats were tested in each game, but prevailed in all three, taking down the Eagles, 25-19, 25-18, 25-20. Dallastown got 31 assists from Emma Mason and eight kills from Paige Childs. Dover's Chayce Hoffman had nine digs. The Wildcats also won the JV match, 25-21, 25-21.

Kennard-Dale 3, Eastern York 0: At Wrightsville, Brittany Wolf and Adriana Hoke paced the offense as the Rams collected a 25-15, 25-15, 25-21 sweep. Wolf had 11 kills and Hoke handed out 28 assists. Eastern's Liz Pyles posted 15 assists.

Red Lion 3, Spring Grove 1: At Spring Grove, the visitors got 35 assists, 11 digs and six aces from Rachel Groff during their 27-25, 11-25, 25-21, 25-22 victory. Lindsey Blevins added 16 kills and 12 digs to the wining cause. The Rockets' Laken Bankert turned in a 13-kill, 13-dig performance.

Gettysburg 3, York High 0: At York, Jess Sandoe and Sammi Falcon each recorded eight kills as the guests took a 25-11, 25-11, 25-7 decision. York was paced by Mariangely Candelario's six assists.

South Western 3, New Oxford 0: At South Western, Tori Sager's effort helped the hosts claim a 25-19, 25-19, 25-14 victory. Sager recorded 15 digs and seven kills. Wren Berry had nine assists for the Colonials.

Delone Catholic 3, Fairfield 0: At McSherrystown, Kayla Ewart had six kills as the Squirettes scored a 25-20, 25-12, 25-10 victory. Kristen Morrow added 20 assists to the winning effort.

Susquehannock 3, Northeastern 0: At Manchester, Laura Savin's seven kills helped the Warriors take the 25-16, 25-9, 25-12 road victory. Abbey Braswell had eight kills for the Bobcats.

Hanover 3, York Catholic 1: At York Catholic, after dropping the opening game, the Nighthawks rebounded to win the final three over the Irish, 23-25, 25-16, 25-14, 25-19. Alexa Merrell had 12 kills and five aces for Hanover. York Catholic's big performer was McKenna Walker, who had 17 assists. The Irish won the JV match, 25-11, 22-25, 15-11.
