GIRLS' VOLLEYBALL: York Tech, Red Lion, New Oxford win 3-2 thrillers

York Tech 3, Fairfield 2: At Spry, the Spartans won a thriller, 21-25, 25-15, 25-18, 23-25, 15-13. Kirstyn Evans had 21 kills and eight aces, while D'Shanna Edwards had 15 kills for the Spartans. Abby Herring had a team-high nine kills for the Green Knights. Fairfield won the JV match, 25-12, 17-25, 15-12.

Red Lion 3, South Western 2: At Red Lion, the Lions stormed back to win, 20-25, 25-20, 19-25-25-12, 15-5. Rachel Goff had 40 assists for Red Lion, while Lindsey Blevins had 19 kills. For South Western, Abi Gatz had 19 digs. The Mustangs won the JV match in three games.

New Oxford 3, Dover 2: At New Oxford, the Colonials rallied for a 20-25, 26-24, 22-25, 25-21, 15-9 win. New Oxford's Carly Rippeon had 10 kills and five aces, while Kayla Lacey had 11 assists. For Dover, Emma Davis had a 10-kill night and Chaya Hoffman finished with 22 digs. The Colonials also won the JV match, 12-25, 25-22, 15-10.

West York 3, York High 0: At West York, the Bulldogs won, 25-10, 25-4, 25-10. Abbey James led the home team with 30 assists and four aces. Also for the Bulldogs, Marisa Krinock had eight aces and five kills, Tailyn Kite had seven kills and six aces and Kate Tate had eight kills. West York won the JV match, 25-7, 25-22.

Central York 3, Dallastown 0: At Dallastown, the Panthers triumphed, 25-14, 25-13, 25-21. Emma Saxton had 26 assists for Central, while Hannah Rishel and Ashley Gallagher combined for 29 digs. For Dallastown, Toni Cappas and Paige Childs each had six kills. The Panthers also won the JV match, 25-14, 17-25, 15-2.

York Catholic 3, Covenant Christian 0: At York Catholic, the Irish cruised, 25-12, 25-13, 25-11. Brooke Ricks had 11 digs for York Catholic, while McKenna Walker had 20 assists. Emily Hoffman also had an eight-ace night.

York Suburban 3, Eastern York 0: At Suburban, the Trojans dominated, 25-17, 25-13, 25-13. Suburban was led by Georgia DuMars (25 assists) and Jordan Landis (nine assists). For Eastern, Brooke LaCesa had three aces. Suburban won the JV match, 25-9, 25-13.

Susquehannock 3, Kennard-Dale 1: At Fawn Grove, the Warriors grabbed a 25-17, 25-16, 23-25, 25-15 victory. Laura Savin had 15 kills for Susquehannock, while Kelly Franz had 42 assists and six aces. Katie Leftridge had 13 kills for K-D and Megan Gereny came up with 16 digs. The Warriors also won the JV match, 2-0.

Hanover 3, Littlestown 0: At Hanover, the Hawkettes rolled, 25-11, 25-18, 25-22. Saranda Gerlach had 13 kills and 13 digs for Hanover, while Lexi Daley had 28 assists and six aces. Emily Staub had 16 assists to lead Littlestown. The Thunderbolts won the JV match, 25-18, 25-17.

Delone Catholic 3, Bermudian Springs 0: At McSherrystown, the Squirettes earned a sweep, 25-20, 25-14, 25-6. Katie Laughman had 30 assists for Delone, while Sarah Senft had 15 kills. Gabrielle Emeigh had eight assists and eight digs for Bermudian. The Squirettes also won the JV match, 25-12, 25-17.
