Susquehannock rebounded from an opening loss on Thursday night to beat visiting Gettysburg and remain unbeaten (5-0) in York-Adams Division II girls' volleyball action.

The Warriors won the final three games to upend the Warriors, 17-25, 25-16, 25-22, 25-13.

Susquehannock got big efforts from several players on defense. Laura Savin (22), Kelly Franz (20), Amber Bortner (18) and Abby Ferraro (14) combined for 74 digs. Sammi Faloon had 10 kills for Gettysburg, while Myla Manahan passed for a team-high 21 assists.

Susquehannock also won the JV match, 25-22, 24-26, 15-12.

OTHER GIRLS' VOLLEYBALL

York Suburban 3, Northeastern 1: At Manchester, after dropping the third game, the Trojans finally prevailed, 25-22, 25-20, 22-25, 25-16, to also improve to 5-0 in York-Adams Division II. Suburban got a big match from both Ciara Buckingham and Georgia DuMars. Buckingham finished with 11 kills, while DuMars wound up with 26 assists. The Northeastern duo of Abby Braswell and Jordyn Smeltzer combined for 24 kills. The Trojans also won the JV match, 25-17, 20-25, 15-7.

Dallastown 3, New Oxford 0: At Dallastown, the Wildcats swept the Colonials, 25-22, 25-18, 25-12. Toni Cappas had eight kills for Dallastown, while Emma Mason finished with 20 assists. For New Oxford, Lexie Kenworthy had eight digs. The Wildcats also won the JV match, 21-25, 25-17, 15-4.

Spring Grove 3, Dover 0: At Dover, the Rockets secured the road win, 25-15, 25-11, 25-8. Autumn Leese had six aces, six kills and seven digs for Spring Grove. Katie Kann had a nine-assist night for Dover. The Rockets also won the JV match, 25-19, 27-25.

Eastern York 3, York High 0: At York, Liz Pyles helped the visitors to a 25-7, 25-7, 25-12 sweep with 10 assists, seven aces and three kills. Natalie Grim recorded nine of Eastern's 24 aces on the night.

Delone Catholic 3, York Tech 0: At McSherrystown, the Squirettes cruised 25-14, 25-12, 25-8. Leeann Bixler had seven aces for Delone, while Chloe Kindig added 17 assists. For Tech, Kayli Shoff had nine digs and four assists. The Squirettes also won the JV match, 25-7, 25-5.

Littlestown 3, Christian School of York 0: At Littlestown, the hosts posted a 25-21, 25-18, 25-19 sweep, thanks in part to 23 assists from Emily Staub. Mariah Hymiller added seven kills.

Hanover 3, Bermudian Springs 2: At York Springs, the Hawkettes won, 20-25, 25-11, 25-16, 21-25, 15-13. Kelsey Staub led the visitors with 21 assists, 13 digs, five kills and four aces. For the Eagles, Mady Whitcomb had 17 kills, eight digs, six blocks and three aces. Hanover won the JV match, 23-25, 25-20, 15-11.

York Catholic 3, Fairfield 0: At Fairfield, the Irish rolled 25-17, 25-13, 25-12, behind Izzy Johnson (nine kills) and Emily Hoffman (eight kills). Lexy Sanders (six digs, four kills) and Gena Eiker (10 digs) paced Fairfield. York Catholic won the JV match, 25-17, 25-12.

West York 3, Kennard-Dale 0: At Fawn Grove, the Bulldogs won 25-11, 25-16, 25-22. Amanda Sides (13 kills, nine digs), Marisa Krinock (nine kills) and Abbey James (25 assists) paced the winners. Adrianna Hake (17 assists), Brittany Wolf (11 digs, six kills), Katie Leftridge (10 digs, eight kills), Makenzie Feyerherm (13 digs, five kills) and Megan Gereny (15 digs) led the Rams. K-D won the JV match, 25-20, 25-18.

West York 3, Northeastern 2: At Manchester on Tuesday, the Bulldogs prevailed, 25-20, 20-25, 23-25, 25-18, 15-9. Amanda Sides (18 kills, 12 digs), Marisa Krinock (12 kills), Trilby Kite (12 digs) and Abbey James (33 assists) led the Bulldogs. Northeastern's leaders were: Alivia Crerand (39 assists, 11 digs), Abby Braswell (18 kills, 23 digs), Jordyn Smeltzer (12 kills, 12 digs) and Whitney Brown (10 digs, eight kills).
