GIRLS' VOLLEYBALL: York Tech sweeps to win vs. Steel-High

York Tech 3, Steel-High 0: At Steel-High, the Spartans won the non-league match, 25-8, 25-10, 25-18. Kirstyn Evans led the visitors with 12 kills, three digs, two blocks and two aces. Also for Tech, Brooke Glass had eight aces, six digs, five kills, three assists and two blocks, Kayli Shoff had 12 assists and one kill and Judy Barton had three aces, seven kills, two digs and two blocks. Steel-High won the JV match, 25-21, 22-25, 15-5.

West York 3, Dover 0: At West York, a well-rounded effort from Amanda Sides led the Bulldogs to a 25-21, 25-16, 25-18 win. Sides had 11 kills, 10 digs, four aces and two assists. Abbey James and Trilby Kite helped the offense run smoothly, each handing out eight assists. Tiff Jewitt had a team-high five kills for Dover and Abby Diehl dished out 10 assists and three aces.

Delone Catholic 3, South Western 0: At Hanover, the Squirettes rolled, 25-22, 25-9, 25-15. Katie Laughman (23 assists, five digs), Sarah Senft (12 digs, seven kills) and Lexi Shanabrook (16 digs) paced Delone. Hannah McMaster (eight digs, six kills, six assists), Tori Sager (14 digs) and Madisyn McMaster (seven digs, five kills) paced South Western. The Squirettes won the JV match, 2-0.

Northern York 3, Littlestown 0: At Littlestown, the Polar Bears triumphed, 25-21, 25-14, 25-12. Hannah Riley had six kills for Littlestown, while Emily Staub added nine assists and Jillian Persing chipped in seven digs.

Kennard-Dale 3, York Catholic 0: At Fawn Grove, the Rams won the non-divisional match, 25-17, 25-9, 25-17. Adriana Hoke led the Rams with 24 assists, while Katie Leftridge had 14 kills, Brittany Wolf had seven kills and four aces and Makenzie Feyerherm had five aces and seven kills. For the Irish, Brooke Ricks had two aces and two kills, while Emily Hoffman had three kills and four digs.

Waynesboro 3, Spring Grove 2: At Spring Grove, the visitors won the non-league match, 25-23, 18-25, 25-27, 25-18, 15-13. Autumn Leese led the Rockets with 14 kills, 12 digs and 11 aces. Also for the Rockets, Morgan Bair had 11 kills and five digs, Josie Attig had 40 assists and 20 digs and Kendra Miller had 12 kills. Spring Grove won the JV match, 26-28, 25-17, 16-4.

Bermudian Springs 3, Boiling Springs 0: At Newville, the Eagles rolled to the non-league road victory, 25-16, 25-12, 25-19. Gabrielle Emeigh (25 assists, 10 kills) and Madyson Whitcomb (17 kills, seven service points) led the Eagles. Bermudian won the JV match, 23-25, 25-15, 15-13.
