West York swept the doubles matches en route to a 3-2 girls' tennis victory at Spring Grove on Thursday afternoon, Sept. 14.
The Bulldogs received a singles victory from Audrey Kinney, while Sadie Mikula and Megan Hartlaub won the No. 1 doubles match and Sarah DePasquale and Chloe Hoover won the No. 2 doubles match.
For the Rockets, Libby Groft and Katarina Venditto each won a singles match.
Central York 3, Red Lion 2: At Red Lion, the Panthers won both doubles points to knock off the Lions. Lily Richwine won at No. 2 singles to gain Central’s only singles point, while the teams of Carolyn Snell/MeKenna Spangler and Olivia Quarterly/Danella Fiestritzer won at doubles for the Panthers. Kristina Snyder won at No. 1 singles and Zoe Watson won at No. 3 singles to earn Red Lion its points.
Bermudian Springs 3, Dover 2: At Dover, Brooke Yurick won the No. 1 singles match to lead the visitors to the victory. For the home team, Madisyn Weaver and Mary Teaford each won a singles match.
Northeastern 5, York Catholic 0: At Northeastern, the Bobcats received singles victories from Courtnee Hoff, Jillian Laughman and Brynn MacDonald. Aubrey Shaffer and Adannaya Onwukanjo combined to win the No. 1 doubles match, while Madison Laughman and Isha Patel won the No. 2 doubles match.
Susquehannock 3, York Suburban 2: At Glen Rock, the Warriors received singles victories from Julianne Cassady and Molly Hogan, while Kate Cramer and Emily Ditt combined to win the No. 1 doubles match. For the Trojans, Lucy Smith won a singles match, while Ini Ekaha and Zoe Prats won the No. 2 doubles match.
