GIRLS' TENNIS: Central York grabs win vs. Northeastern

Central York captured a 4-1 girls' tennis triumph over Northeastern in Manchester on Thursday afternoon.

The Panthers received singles victories from Madison Mummert and Kaca Holland, while Lily Richwine and Sarah Kohr combined to win the No. 1 doubles match and Daniella Feistritzer and Olivia Quartley combined to win the No. 2 match. For the Bobcats, Courtnee Hoff won a singles match.

Spring Grove 3, West York 2: At West York, Rachel Worley and Abigial O'Leary won the No. 1 doubles match in straight sets to lead the Rockets to the victory. For the Bulldogs, Lydia Fairlamb and Kiersten Shelton each won a straight-set singles match. The Rockets captured two of the three needed points by forfeit.

Delone Catholic 5, Susquehannock 0: At McSherrystown, the Squirettes received singles victories from Alyssa Neudecker, Ellie Neudecker and Emily Ritter.
