York Suburban, Dallastown earn girls' tennis wins

York Suburban and Dallastown earned girls’ tennis wins on Thursday.

Suburban downed Spring Grove, 4-1, while Dallastown blanked visiting Conestoga Valley, 5-0.

Liv Pindzola, above, and her teammate, Alex Clancy, have advanced to the quarterfinals of the York-Adams League Class 2-A Girls' Tennis Doubles Tournament.

At Spring Grove, the Trojans received singles victories from Liv Pindzola and Elizabeth Huh, while in doubles Maddie Lenker and Dilly O'Donnell captured the No. 1 match and Lucy Smith and Skylar Volz won the No. 2 match. For the Rockets, Victoria Blymier won the No. 2 singles match.

Christie Friedrich, Madi Reed and Morgan Kistler earned singles wins for Dallastown. Taylor Jones and Meghan Salaga won at No. 1 doubles, while Lindsay Sheaffer and Victoria Gruen won at No. 2 doubles.
