The Fairfield Green Knights are District 3 girls' soccer champions — again.

The York-Adams Division III co-champion Knights earned their third title in the last five seasons on Tuesday night with a 2-0 victory over Mount Calvary Christian in the 1-A title game at Gettysburg Middle School.

Emma Dennison and Erin Gregg scored second-half goals, both off assists by York-Adams Division III Player of the Year Naia Roberts.

It was Fairfield's fifth consecutive appearance in a district final. The Knights won the 1-A crown in 2016 and 2017 and lost in the finals in 2018 and 2019.

No. 1 seed Fairfield improved to 12-1-1, while No. 2 seed Mount Calvary fell to 14-2.

Fairfield and Mount Calvary have now met four times over the last five years in postseason play. The Knights are 4-0 in those games with a 26-0 goal differential.

The Knights now advance to the state 1-A quarterfinals at 2 p.m. Saturday against District 12 champion Conwell-Egan, which downed District 1 champion Dock Mennonite on Tuesday. That game ended 0-0 after overtime, but Conwell-Egan won 4-2 on penalty kicks. Saturday's game will be played at Gettysburg Middle School.

Fairfield is the lone remaining York-Adams team still alive in the soccer playoffs.
