Christian School of York's fourth-quarter rally fell just short Thursday night in a 43-42 loss to Veritas Academy in a Commonwealth Christian Athletic Conference girls' basketball semifinal.

Kendis Butler poured in 22 points in a losing cause. Claire Harbaugh added 12 points for CSY, which had a 13-8 fourth-quarter scoring advantage.

CSY fell to 19-5. Veritas Academy improved to 16-3. The two teams will meet again in a District 3 Class 1-A playoff game at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 23, at CSY. Veritas is seeded No. 5 and CSY is seeded No. 4.
