Outlook: If there was ever a year that the stars aligned for Biglerville to make a run at the Division III title, 2015 is it.

To begin with, in a rarity, the Canners will play six home games to only four road contests, setting up a real shot for them to boast a winning record and return to the playoffs for the second straight year.

But, more important than the number of home games Biglerville will host is the number of players returning from last year's squad. The Canners will have one of the more experienced teams in all of the York-Adams League, especially at the skill positions. Along with that, many of the seniors on this year's team began seeing varsity snaps as sophomores, so much of this squad has at least two years of experience playing on Friday nights.

Offensively, the Canners' running game will again be a strong suit, led by returning senior running back Scott Cooper. He had eight touchdowns last year before suffering an ankle injury in Week 8 last year.

With the stars seemingly aligned for a return to success that could resemble the nine-win 2012 season, don't be shocked if the Division III title comes down to the final week when Biglerville faces its rival Bermudian Springs on the road.

Player speak: "The guys are really gathering around now. They sense that we can be something special this year and they're really excited to get back out there again." — Senior cornerback/running back Scott Cooper on the team's anticipation of the upcoming season.
