The Red Lion field hockey team dominated Northeastern thanks to a big second half, winning 5-0 on Tuesday, Oct. 10.

The Lions carried a modest 1-0 lead into halftime, but erupted for four goals in the second half to pull away.

Peyton Shima scored Red Lion's first two goals, while Sam Collis scored the team's final two. Mixed in was a Kaiya Edwards goal. The final three Lion goals were scored in the game's final 10 minutes.

Red Lion also shut out Northeastern in the JV match, 2-0.

Central York 10, Dover 0: At Central York, Kyra Heap led the Panthers by scoring a team-high five goals. Mikayla Sommer, Kiarra Rivera and Shea Strange each scored one goal and added one assist, while Bree Craley had two assists. The JV match ended in a 1-1. 

Eastern York 3, Delone Catholic 1: At McSherrystown, Lily Campbell, Kelsey Felix and Addison Malone scored for Eastern. Elizabeth Little scored Delone’s only goal late in the first half to pull the home team to within a goal before the break. Eastern won the JV match, 2-1.
