Kyra Heap had three goals and two assists to power Central York to a 7-0 field hockey victory over visiting West York on Monday afternoon, Sept. 11.

Abby Lamison, Emily Kurland, Bree Craley and Kaitlyn Merritt also scored for Central, while Shae Strange added two assists. Mikayla Sommer and Lamison had one assist each.

The JV match ended 0-0.



Red Lion 3, South Western 2 (OT): At Red Lion, Kennedy Bratton found the back of the net at the 12:40 mark of overtime to break the 2-2 tie. Also for the Lions, Hayley Taylor and Sam Collis each scored one goal. Red Lion won the JV match 1-0.

Dallastown 5, Dover 0: At Dover, Audrey Peri and Rebecca Dodson each scored twice to pace the Wildcats. Hannah Strathmeyer also scored and added an assist. Shania Mulder and Sara Baker also added assists. Dover's Veronica Talton had 12 saves. Dallastown also won the JV match, 5-0.

Susquehannock 3, Spring Grove 0: At Glen Rock, Lauryn Wojcik led the Warriors by scoring one goal and adding two assists.Teammate Ellie Lindauer scored one goal and added one assist. The JV match ended in a 3-3 tie. 

Kennard-Dale 7, Delone Catholic 0: At Fawn Grove, Morgan Bowings led the Rams by scoring three goals and adding two assists. Also for K-D, Lindsey Dell had one goal and one assist, while Jenna Soukaseum scored two goals. K-D won the JV match, 4-0.

Littlestown 4, York Suburban 0: At York Suburban, Savannah Schisler led the Thunderbolts by scoring one goal and adding two assists. The JV match ended in a 0-0 tie.

Hanover 4, Eastern York 0: At Hanover, Avery Martz led the Hawkettes by recording a hat trick. The JV match ended in a 0-0 tie.

New Oxford 6, Northeastern 0: At Manchester, Carly Flickinger and Katie Hoover each scored two goals to power the Colonials, while Bri Smith added two assists.
