BOYS' CROSS COUNTRY

Maldonado leads Rockets: At York Township, Jordan Maldonado's first-place finish in 17 minutes, 11 seconds led Spring Grove to victories over York Tech, Kennard-Dale and Eastern. The Golden Knights came in second and the Rams took third, followed by Tech.

Dallastown captures three victories: At Dallastown, the Wildcats captured first place in the team competition by defeating Gettysburg, Delone Catholic and Dover. The Warriors took second. Dan Filler led the Warriors with a first-place finish in 16:39. Dover came in third, followed by Delone.

Buzynski leads Panthers: At York College, Timmy Buzynski's first-place finish in 17:56 led the Central York Panthers to wins over West York, Littlestown, New Oxford and York Catholic. The Bulldogs took second, followed by New Oxford, Littlestown and York Catholic.

McDonnel paces Susquehannock: Joey McDonnel finished third overall for Susquehannock, helping the Warriors beat Northeastern and Biglerville. The Bobcats finished second, with Noah Hake taking first in 18:19.20. The Canners wound up third.

Wagner leads Trojans: At Fairfield, Peter Wagner's first-place finish in 17:28 led York Suburban to victories over Red Lion, South Western, Fairfield and Bermudian Springs. The Lions took second, while the Mustangs came in third. The Eagles captured fourth, followed by Fairfield.

GIRLS' CROSS COUNTRY

Golden Knights capture first: At York Township, Eastern York defeated Kennard-Dale, Spring Grove and York Tech to take first in the team competition. Maddie Ferner led the Rams to a second-place finish by winning the race in 18:42. The Spartans came in third by defeating Spring Grove.

Brown leads Wildcats: At Dallastown, Haley Brown took first in 20:28 to lead the Wildcats to victories over Delone Catholic, Gettysburg and Dover. The Squirettes came in second, followed by Dover and Gettysburg.

Northeastern races to two wins: Michaela Bradley, Kyliegh Smeltzer and Rose Rush finished 2-3-4 to help Northeastern over Susquehannock and Biglerville. Rachel Banchiere ran the course in the fastest time for the Warriors, finishing in 19:54.70. Susquehannock came in second, followed by Biglerville.

Panthers capture first: At York College, the Central York Panthers took first in the team competition by defeating West York, Littlestown, New Oxford and York Catholic. The Bulldogs captured second, paced by Bethany Weaver, who finished first 20:45.8. York Catholic took second, followed by New Oxford and Littlestown.

Gettle powers Trojans: At Fairfield, Olivia Gettle led the Trojans to victories over Red Lion, South Western, Fairfield and Bermudian Springs by taking first in 20:43.7. Red Lion came in second, followed by South Western, Bermudian Springs and Fairfield.
