The York Suburban boys' volleyball team continued its strong early season performance on Tuesday night with a 25-15, 25-12, 25-9 triumph over visiting Kennard-Dale.

The Trojans were ranked No. 3 in the state in Class AA in the latest Pennsylvania Volleyball Coaches Association poll.

Jack Schultz (nine kills), Sepehr Vakili (seven kills), Ian Firestone (eight digs), Nick Bowman (eight digs) and Kaleb Ansell (24 assists) paced Suburban. K-D was led by Josiah McConville (11 assists) and Kyle Wooldridge (12 kills).

Suburban won the JV match, 25-11, 25-14.

OTHER BOYS' VOLLEYBALL

Spring Grove 3, West York 0: At West York, the Rockets won 25-21, 25-18, 25-21. They were led by Noah Wilson's nine kills and seven digs. Also excelling for Spring Grove were: Luke Hoffnagle (nine kills, 11 digs), Mason Staub (21 assists, four kills, 12 digs) and Aaron Mummert (seven kills, 10 digs). For the Bulldogs, Jacob May (14 assists, three kills), Drew Geller (eight digs, three kills) and Ian Watson (seven kills) were the leaders. Spring Grove won the JV match, 25-10, 24-26, 15-8.

Northeastern 3, Dallastown 0: At Manchester, the Bobcats rolled 25-15, 25-14, 25-12. Northeastern senior standout Reese Devilbiss had eight kills, while Matt Schaeffer recorded 20 assists. Dallastown got nine digs from both Avery Terroso and Dylan Fry, while Peyton Ranck had 15 assists.

Susquehannock 3, Dover 2: At Dover, Quinlan Kauffman led the Warriors with 25 kills. Also for the Warriors, Steve Rouse had 36 assists and six digs, Kaleb Lippy had four kills and five blocks and Nick Voltaggio had seven kills. For the Eagles, Koleman Hoffman had 28 kills, 10 digs and four blocks, Najah Fink had 12 kills and three blocks and J.T. Crossan had 19 digs and six assists. Dover won the JV match, 2-0.

Red Lion 3, Eastern York 0: At Eastern York, the Lions’ Cole Brillhart slammed 11 kills to go along with three aces, three digs and one block as his team swept the hosts, 25-10, 25-18, 25-11.
